Braids = Best Friends

Greasy hair really comes into its own when creating a braid or two. Your hair’s natural oils will help hold it in place easier and hey, fewer flyaways are always a good thing.  Just separate into two ponytails and braid all the way down, dutch, french, fishtail, or any of these styles. who knew day-old hair could look so good?

Headbands, scarves, and accessories

Basically, anything that is going to cover your roots. Headbands, a headscarf, a beanie, all are great choices when you need to go out but don’t want to commit to washing your hair. Dirty hairstyles like a bun or a slicked-back ponytail will be elevated with a scarf or a silk scrunchie, and if your hair is down because CBA, a headband or a beanie is perfect.

 Rinse, Rinse, and Rinse again.

You know how your hair looks glossy and sleek after a trip to the salon? That’s not just because of the blow-dry itself, it’s also because stylists are trained to rinse everything out of your hair thoroughly after shampooing. Otherwise, residue sticks to strands, making them dull much quicker. So, when washing, make sure you rinse thoroughly. Doing this will help your hair stay fresher for much, much longer. It’s a small tweak, but it works.
